From the reverse of one of Joseph Willey’s studio portraits taken c1859/1860. Joseph Willey was Louth’s first professional photographer and he is regarded as one of Lincolnshire’s best photographers. Joseph Willey and his wife, Mary Jane Willey (née Parker), and their seven children lived at “Ivy Bank”, 120 Upgate, Louth.
