“Halfway House”, Granby Inn, North Thoresby c1912.

An original, unposted, real photographic postcard by an unknown photographer/publisher. “Halfway House” is on the A16, midway between Grimsby and Louth. It says “Granby Inn” above the front door as well as on the end of the building. In later years, someone has handwritten the following on the reverse. “Hewitt Bros Ltd. T/o 1961 by United Breweries, with 320 Houses. Now part of Bass, Charringtons.”
