German markings on a wing of a butterfly bomb dropped on Grimsby on 14th June 1943.

With thanks to Immingham Museum. These butterfly bomb wings were donated to Immingham Museum by Mr Freshwater of Grimsby. The markings include the maker’s mark and the year, 1942. Also there’s a stylised eagle acceptance mark.
