An original 1954 programme. The play by Christopher Fry also starred Dame Edith Evans, James Donald, Margaret Johnston, John Glen, Jack Gwillim, Peter Barkworth, Peter Sallis and Peter Bull. Violet Sutcliffe Farebrother was born in Grimsby on 22nd August 1888 and died in Eastbourne on 27th September 1969.
