An original, chromium plated and enamel, WW2 air raid precautions badge. Made by Thomas Fattorini Ltd., Regent Street, Birmingham. John Lysaght and Co. was an iron and steel company established in Bristol in 1857 with later operations in Wolverhampton, Newport and Scunthorpe (and Nettleton 1955-1963). The Lysaght surname originated in Ireland. The Lysaght Works at Scunthorpe closed down in 1982. The Lysaght name is still linked with steel products in Australia.
